WRITING EKPHRASTICALLY. With poet and fiction writer Nance Van Winckel. Open to writers in all genres. Using visual art to stimulate our imaginations and with some examples of art-inspired literary works, we will create poems, flash fictions, and/or lyric essays. Visual artworks will be provided, or participants are welcome to bring artwork they admire. The writing we do will involve “prompts” to engage the imagination’s participation IN and WITH the visual art.
